This is a plain-English notice of what to expect from Garbage Drop. By subscribing or using the service, you accept this disclaimer in full. For the full legal contract, see our Terms & Conditions.

We Move Trash — We Don't Haul It Off-Property

Garbage Drop is a trash-handling service. For homes, we roll your cans to the curb before your city's collection day and return them afterward. For apartments, condos, and properties with an on-site dumpster, we may also take bagged trash from a designated pickup point to the property's dumpster.

We are not a licensed waste hauler and have no affiliation with your city's collection department. We do not transport waste away from your property — final disposal is handled by your municipality or your property's contracted waste-management vendor. If the city or hauler misses a collection, that is between you and them — not us.

Results Depend on Your Setup

Our service works best when bins are accessible, unobstructed, and ready to move. We cannot guarantee successful service if:

A gate is locked and no access was provided
A vehicle or obstacle is blocking the bin path on service day
Bins are overloaded, broken, or too heavy to safely move
The service address is outside our current route area

In any of these situations, we will skip the service for that week. No refund is issued for a skip caused by access issues on the customer's end. We will notify you of the skip when possible.

We Are Not Responsible for City Truck Damage

Municipal and private waste trucks occasionally damage or misplace bins during collection. This is outside our control. Garbage Drop is not liable for bin damage, loss, or misplacement caused by the collection vehicle or its crew. If we damaged your bin during our service, we will repair or replace it at our expense — just send us a photo and message.

Weather, Holidays & Delays

Franklin, KY and surrounding areas can see ice, heavy rain, and extreme heat. We will always attempt service, but safety comes first. During severe weather or major holidays, service may be delayed by up to 24 hours. We'll do our best to notify you ahead of time via email.

When haulers reschedule due to weather, we follow their schedule — we don't bring cans out to a curb that won't be picked up.

Subscription Billing

Every new subscription starts with a 2-week (14-day) free trial. Your card is saved at signup but no charge happens until day 15. Cancel before then from your account portal and pay $0.

After the trial, your plan renews automatically at the billing cadence you chose (monthly, quarterly, or annual) through Square. We never store your card details — Square handles all payment processing securely. Your subscription continues until you cancel. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not trigger a refund for the current billing period already paid.

You can view invoices, update your card, or cancel at any time from your account portal or directly through the Square Billing Portal.

Pricing & Plan Changes

Plan prices listed on this website are current as of the last update date above. Garbage Drop reserves the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice sent to your billing email. You may cancel before any price change takes effect.

Our Liability Is Limited

Garbage Drop's maximum liability for any single service incident is limited to one month's subscription fee for your plan. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind. By using our service, you accept this limitation.

Service Area Notice

We currently serve Franklin, KY and the surrounding Simpson County area (ZIP codes 42134 and 42135). We are actively expanding to additional cities. If your address is outside our current route area, your signup will be moved to our waitlist and you will not be charged. If a charge is made in error, we will issue a full refund within 1 business day. You can also reach out through our contact form to be notified when we expand to your area.
